Daniel Thompson, Jewelry Designer and Master bench jeweler and caster, was born October 15th, 1968 in Hunting ton WV. Daniel was raised on a cattle farm in the hills of West Virginia. Starting out as a general contractor he found an interest in creating beautiful jewelry and began training at a local jewelry store as a jewelry repairman. With his wife JoAnne and children Leah Thompson Rogers, and Nash, Thompson traveled all over the country gaining skills as a goldsmith, stone setter, hand engraver and fine metal caster.

Daniels education began at Marshall University, Huntington, WV, in Small Business Management, as a beach jeweler he attended classes in laser welding at Stuller Lafayette, LA., Hand Engraving at GRS Emporia KS, and Advanced Stone Setting at New Approach School for Jewelers Virginia Beach, VA. Received his graduate degree in diamond, and color stones earning a G.G. (Graduate of Gemology from G.I.A Gemological Institute of America, Carlsbad, CA.

Daniel relocated to Conway, SC, where he works for a local jewelry store. Designing from an idea to layout using 3d software, then creating a wax prototype piece that he casts finishing to a beautiful one of a kind piece of jeweler.
