Dorothy Miller (1937-2016) lived a modest life raising two boys – one a sports enthusiast (Mark Christopher Miller) and one an artist (William H. Miller).  She attended some college and she mostly enjoyed painting with acrylics and watercolors.  In the late 1960s and early 1970s she showed her work in the Allentown Art Festival in Buffalo, NY and the Lewiston Art Festival in Lewiston, NY.  She retired to Myrtle Beach and was a frequent visitor of the Franklin G, Burroughs – Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum.
