Join the Art Museum as we take a trip to ArtFields 2018 in Lake City, SC. An annual, nine-day art competition in Lake City, South Carolina – ArtFields is the largest competition of its kind. ArtFields awards more than $120,000 in cash prizes to artists from across the Southeast. And, it’s also infused new energy, creativity, and growth into Lake City and its surrounding communities. Itinerary
8:15 a.m. Bus leaves Art Museum.
10:15 a.m. Arrive in Lake City. Our first stop is at the brand new Trax Visual Arts Center on
Saul Street. We will be met by ArtFields Volunteers who will tell us about the
new facility.
10:45 a.m. with volunteer guides, tour ArtFields
12:30 p.m. Meet for lunch at The Inn at the Crossroads, Lake City’s boutique hotel
Special guest speaker: Wim Roefs, Artistic Director, Lake City Creative Alliance
1:30 p.m. Tour ArtFields on your own
2:45 p.m. Meet the bus at the Bean Market and drive to The ROB
3-4 p.m. Tour The ROB
4 p.m. Bus leaves The ROB for Myrtle Beach
