After careers in business and education, Beth A. Wilson has turned her painting from hobby to profession. She has studied with a variety of artists, including Nicholas Wilton in the Creative Visionary Program. Abstracted landscape and floral elements appear frequently in her pieces representing her connection to the Universe through nature. Working in acrylics, she uses layers of transparent and translucent colors to express her own personal journey of growth and hope.
In 2023, Beth’s piece Boldly Blazing won an Honorable Mention award in the Seacoast Artist Guild Fall Show. Previous work has been juried into the Waccamaw Arts and Craft Guild Spring Show and shown in other local shows. Her work is currently in the Seacoast Artist Gallery and William H. Miller Studios & Fine Art in Myrtle Beach, SC.
