TODAY‘S HOURS: 1pm to 5pm

Claudine Scheu

Claudine is a self-taught artist, on a mission. With very little formal training in fine art, she has immersed herself into every opportunity to learn and develop her artistic voice. She is currently experimenting with works that incorporate a variety of techniques. She utilizes variations of media, and textures, to build layers, sometimes scraping away, sometimes building up. Each layer is important to her process, and the process is where her passion lies.

She was juried into the Seacoast Artists Gallery, in Myrtle Beach, SC, in 2019 and has been an exhibiting artist ever since. Her artwork has been accepted into several shows and she also donates artworks each year to various organizations, including #TAE; for which her work “Locked” was awarded one of the “Fav Five”. She has artworks, on display and in homes around the nation and in Europe.

She discovered a long time ago that she is a life-long learner and believes her artworks are a result of this desire to continue learning, progressing and discovering new ways to express herself. Claudine’s mission has enabled her to achieve a second Masters of Education in Art and recognize the enormous potential art has on disseminating information to the world.
