American Artist Bradley Carter is an award winning, international selling artist who grew up perusing his passion for art in Virginia before moving to the North Carolina in 2007, where he currently resides in Wilmington, NC. He predominately creates in the medium of painting with his passion in Abstract Expressionism, but his works also include mixed media, paint skins, and furniture.Bradley received his BFA in 2002 from Virginia Commonwealth University in Painting and Print Making, but didn’t become a full time artist again until 2013 after deciding to leave the business he helped create and get back to his artistic passion. These passions hold a predominant narrative throughout his abstract paintings conveying; spontaneity, freedom, color theory, fluidity, musicality, texture, history, and his studies of art processes and techniques. Since returning full time to painting, Bradley has taken part in numerous national and regional group exhibitions from WHQR Gallery and Cameron Art Museum here in Wilmington to National Juried exhibitions across the country from Virginia to Wisconsin. Bradley has a consistent stream of solo shows, national juried shows, and private shows, and has sold work to private and public collector around the world. Currently has work represented at Eclipse Gallery, Art in Bloom Gallery, and on display at The George on the River walk in Wilmington, NC and his Paint skin books are sold at Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum. His work has also been displayed in several local and international articles and has been seen on ABC’s secrets and lies and TNT’s Good Behavior.
