Having been an avid art lover all her life, and finding herself an empty nester, Jane began to paint at the suggestion of a friend. First taking lessons with local artists Katherine Wynn Patrick, Bruce Chandler and then Jef Sturm through Coastal Carolina University. Jane’s love for the South Carolina coast is reflected in her landscape paintings. “I am completely obsessed by the beauty of the Low Country. Every day is a new inspiration”. Native North Carolinian, Jane currently resides in Pawleys Island, SC. She is a member of the Waccamaw Arts and Crafts Guild.
