Born in 1987 in Russia, Jiuliya is the mural and textile artist who was inspired by her grandfather’s numerous art works.Her Master’s of Textile and Apparel was received from MS Deign and Technology University, Russia. In 2009, she was invited to participate in “Week of Fashion at MGUDT” with her handcrafted shoe collection from painted silk. Subsequent to that she attended the Continuing Education program in the College of Applied Art named after Carl Fabergé in Moscow,Russia. To her, it is a true happiness being able to share her art view with people. In 2008, she taught applied textile art for four years at the Children’s School of Art and Continuing Education “Neo XI Century”, Moscow. Jiuliya’s work can be found in private art collections both in United State and Russia. In 2020, she opened her DECOR&MASLOVA online/ in-class school. She thinks that an artistic person should try constantly improving their talents and developing new technics. Jiuliya’s credo, “Believe in your dreams and they will believe in you,” by Soichio Honda.
