The artist’s name is Tina Burhans-Robinson. Her passion for art was ignited in the fourth grade, when her father told her that she painted the best sun god that he had ever seen, she believed that she was an artist.  In 2017 Tina moved to the Myrtle Beach area with clothes and art supplies to live fully in her artistic passion.

Throughout her life journey she learned how to draw, paint, batik, throw pottery, take and develop pictures, screen print and even how to operate a printing press.  During her fourteen years in the Air Force career she used her artistic talents to paint murals in the dormitory and unit patches on the squadron walls.  She spent time working in a print shop and at a company creating the graphics for their order forms.  She spent six years working as an activity professional in assisted living.  As an activity professional, she facilitated art, crafts and music with her elders. In 2015 she attended a national Leadership Exchange and Conference on Creative Aging and Eden Alternative training. Both promoted lifelong learning and involvement in the arts.  She assisted a professor with her study of “Music, Imagery and Motion”.  It showed her the value of incorporating art and music at every age.  She has explored every medium of art that she encountered.

She learned a new acrylic painting process that ignited a passion to create and teach art.  She established Tina B’s Art in 2019.  Her artwork is displayed for sale in Studio B and Heart 2 Heart.  She partnered with Studio 43*19 in 2020 and teaches Acrylic Pour Painting and other art classes there.  She can be reached on Facebook @TinaBsArt or by email at TinaBsArt@gmail.com
