After moving from Albany, NY, Cynthia currently resides in Sunset Beach, NC with her cat Clark and Husband Al.
She has always painted and vividly remembers painting a picture of a house in her Kindergarten room as a child.
Her education includes a BFA in Printmaking from NYS College of Ceramics at Alfred, NY and an MA from SUNY at Albany, NY also in Printmaking.
Despite her love of printing, she currently feels most connected to painting.
The spontaneity of watercolor and the vibrancy of oils intrigue and challenger her.
She feels some of her influences are Winslow Homer, Cecilia Beaux and Helen Frankenthaler.
She tries to paint on a daily basis.
