60 | Donna Clement | Midnight at the Oasis | acrylic on canvas | 36×24

Donna is an award-winning artist who has had her paintings and photography included in museum exhibits, art galleries and judged and juried shows.  She paints both non-objective and representational art in acrylic or oils, preferring large, bold abstract pieces. Her art is currently displayed in local art galleries, public venues, and private collections in the Carolinas, Virginia, Ohio, Minnesota, California, and Washington DC. She was a charter member of the Seacoast Artists Gallery in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Donna says: Art is man’s highest form of expression.  It allows us to communicate our experiences, to convey our feelings and emotions, to depict our ideals.  Art connects past to present, present to future.  Through visual imagery, the Artist attempts to leave his mark, to make his statement.  Like the Cave Paintings, we hope our Art will bring joy to the viewer, as well as transcend the limitations of our too short lives.

Donna is also a published writer and poet, and was managing editor of a literary journal. In addition to her art, she was a career technology expert and business executive with degrees in Science and Mathematics.  But her “first love” has always been the creative and visual arts.

She currently lives in Conway, SC.
