Originally from Chicago, IL , family moves took me to many places. I majored in Art at Rutgers College in New Jersey where I was incredibly fortunate to study painting with figurative artist Leon Golub. Although my artwork is often a combination abstract expressionist with figurative elements, since I have moved to this lovely area I have been inspired to work plein air at times. I paint at my studio in Murrells Inlet and often exhibit work at the William H. Miller Gallery in Myrtle Beach.
