Terry began his artistic career producing watercolor paintings. He specializes in hand-colored copper plate etching. He enjoys experimenting and has been self-taught in several mediums. He has produced many paintings utilizing soft pastels, alcohol inks, oils and acrylics. He has become accomplished in pastel painting of pet portraits.

Terry’s has participated in many juried shows throughout the Southeast where he has won competitions as well as several purchase awards. He currently displays at Georgetown Art Gallery, and other special events at various galleries.

He enjoys educating other artists and art enthusiasts about the exciting medium of printmaking and pastel painting. He has given lectures at Seacoast Gallery and Waccamaw Art Guild. Terry has taught workshops on Intaglio printmaking, teaching other artists on the basic techniques of producing etchings/aquatints.
