Victoria DeAngelis Alger, is a signature member of the (GCWS). She came to love watercolor painting later in life. As a graduate of Landscape Architecture from Michigan State University, her 35 year professional career focused on creative design and stewardship of the natural environment.

Victoria’s passion for watercolor inspires her artistry today, as she enjoys painting landscapes “en plein air” as well as studio paintings of unique subjects, still life scenes, and expressive portraiture. She loves telling a colorful and soulful story with her watercolor paintings.

Victoria’s artwork has been juried into exhibitions in the Southeast including: The Waccamaw Arts & Crafts Guild, Myrtle Beach, SC; Georgetown County Watercolor Society, Georgetown, SC; ArtFields 2015, Lake City, SC;  The Theatre Art Galleries, Highpoint, NC; and the SCWS Annual National Exhibitions. She has won numerous awards and enjoys having collector’s of her artwork regionally, nationally, and internationally. She is active in the local visual arts community, contributing to philanthropic causes for the arts, and has been a featured artist in numerous local publications. She and her husband live in Myrtle Beach where they raised their family near the ocean.
