Self-guided Tours

Your group is welcome to tour the exhibitions without Museum personnel; however, groups of 10 or more should make reservations (843.238.2510) two weeks in advance so multiple large groups are not visiting exhibitions at the same time.

Guided Tours

Docent tours for one or more of the exhibitions may be arranged for groups of 10 or more. Groups should contact the Museum (843.238.2510) at least two weeks prior to your visit to make arrangements.

All tour buses must park in the Art Museum’s back lot.

Youth Group Tours

Free tours are available for all ages of students and youth organizations during the academic year and for youth organizations during the summer.

Self-Guided Tour

Students are guided through the exhibitions by their teacher or group leader.

Guided Tour

Students are led by a Museum docent who provides them with museum etiquette and a guided tour through the galleries exploring our current exhibitions (30 minutes to one hour).

Workshop Tour

This option has the benefit of a guided tour followed by a workshop with an exhibit-correlated theme (1½ hours). Fees for supplies will be charged.

Visit our Field Trip Procedures (under School Programs/Field Trips) page for detailed instructions to arrange and prepare for your tour.
