The love of color and design began at an early age in grammar school. The curiosity to know more moved her at a young age and attended college, many workshops, and lectures pursuing art history, different painting mediums, and finding inspiration in simple objects- “tree tops against a sky, the color of clouds, and sun reflection”.
D enjoys challenging the boundaries and taking a leap. Her favorite medium is Water color because it is hard. She also paints Sumi-E and with Acrylic paint.The artist lives in South Carolina with her husband and dog Jackson.Dolores, is a former Bostonian. She worked in medical Administration and Academia full time during her career, and also was a set of extra hands in the family catering business, Tarrytown, New York, and opened a delicatessen in Little River, South Carolina.Her selective art was juried and accepted for exhibit and sold at the annual Festival of the Arts, North River Art Association, Marshfield Hills Village, Ma. She is a former member of the Quincy Art Association, Quincy, Ma., Cohasset Art Association, Cohasset, Ma, and is currently a member of the Waterway Art Association, Calabash, NC, and Georgetown County Watercolor Society, Pawleys Island / Georgetown, SC.

She enjoys meeting the many other artist and patrons at shows and loves helping those who are curious and wanting to begin their art journey.
