TODAY‘S HOURS: 10am to 5pm

Ages 2 – 5 | Early Art Education

The goal of the Art Museum’s Early Art Education program is to expose children to the basic elements of art, in hopes that art will become a part of their lives as they grow older. Creating art from a young age is proven to help children develop problem solving abilities, build fine motor skills and promote creativity that will help prepare them for their entry into elementary school. Each month, Tracey Roode, Curator of Education, creates fun and creative virtual art and literacy activities, introducing children to color, shape, texture, line, pattern and space.

The Early Art Education Program is made possible by the Frances P. Bunnelle Foundation, The Chapin Foundation and PNC, Grow Up Great.
