AFTER-SCHOOL ART PROGRAM AGES 6-12

Outreach Coordinator Colin Riebe visits area libraries once a month for a free program after school. Participants learn about an artist or art movement and complete a visual arts project. Each project is aimed to be accessible to everyone and can even be completed at home. Projects aim to help kids and parents alike try new forms of art.

The After-School Art Program runs between September and April, and the programs start in the afternoon after the children in the area are finished with school for the day. Participating libraries include: Andrews Library, Carver’s Bay Library, Chapin Memorial Library, Georgetown Library and Waccamaw Neck Library.
