Art collector Dr. Hal Holmes of Conway, SC, will present us with a lecture on his collection of 105 19th-century paintings and drawings by Emily Esdaile Weston, now on view through September 1 in the Art Museum’s second-floor galleries. In addition to an overview of the collection and what is known about the artist Emily Weston, Holmes will talk about how he came to learn about the art work, how the collection was secured and its significance to our area.
