Artists Statement
It is the challenge of conveying an emotion to the viewer that constantly drives
me. Weaving vibrant colors and texture through my paintings helps achieve that
goal. Interests include landscapes depicting the Carolina’s coastal marshes, still
life compositions that depict a vivid path of light and vibrant abstracts.
Influences: Asher Brown Durand, Claude Monet, Robert Motherwell
