Roadtrips

The Art Museum’s RoadTrips are designed to offer Museum members and non-members one-day bus excursions to points of interest and culture in the Carolinas. Past RoadTrips include Bishopville, SC, to meet celebrated topiary artist Pearl Fryar; Lake City, SC, for ArtFields; Columbia, SC, for a performance of Off the Wall and Onto the Stage: Dancing the Art of Jonathan Green, and Beaufort County, SC, to see the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed plantation Auldbrass. These trips often include unique behind-the-scenes opportunities as well as enhancing talks. Snacks and dining experiences are included. Seating is limited; members travel at a reduced rate.

Upcoming Roadtrips

Join the Art Museum as we take a trip to ArtFields 2023 in Lake City, SC., on Monday April 24th, 8am-5pm. An annual, nine-day art competition in Lake City, South Carolina – ArtFields is the largest competition of its kind. ArtFields awards more than $120,000 in cash prizes to artists from across the Southeast. And, it’s also infused new energy, creativity, and growth into Lake City and its surrounding communities.
